Connect

  1. Open Munch from ChatGPT and choose Connect.
  2. Enter the email address you want associated with Munch.
  3. Open the single-use sign-in email on the same device.
  4. Confirm the link on the Munch page.
  5. Review the requested permissions and approve or deny the connection.
  6. Return to ChatGPT.

Single-use email links

Munch does not create a password for ordinary accounts. Each sign-in link expires and can be used once. The confirmation button prevents automated email scanners from consuming the link before you open it.

When an email does not arrive, check spam and filtered folders, verify the address, then request another link. A delayed older link may no longer work after a newer request.

Requested permissions

The authorization page lists the exact access requested by ChatGPT. Approving the connection allows ChatGPT to call the corresponding Munch tools for your account. Munch does not receive unrelated ChatGPT conversations.

Connection errors

Authorization requests are intentionally short-lived. When the page says the request expired or cannot be completed, return to ChatGPT and choose Connect again instead of reusing the old browser tab.

Closing the browser, changing devices during the flow, using a consumed email link, or blocking required cookies can interrupt the connection.

Revoke access

Open Munch Settings, choose Connections, and revoke the connection you no longer want to use. Revocation stops the selected token family without deleting your Munch account or nutrition records.
